Mark Negron
Paintings
At Raritan Valley Community College, Mark Negron took a course called Introduction of Eurythmics. During his time at the college, Loretta Fois taught him this course. Since Mark did not grow up learning much about dance and music, he was unfamiliar with the elements of music. Loretta Fois introduced Mark to Jacques Dalcroze in Eurhythmics, which helped him understand the concepts of anacrusis, metacrusis, and crusis. He acknowledges the concept of plastic anime as well as what a storyboard is. The world of art and dance did not make sense to Mark until he was 25 years old. Eurythmics helped Mark understand what he wanted to do when it comes to his career in dance.
As a result, he started making paintings that he felt emotional about and created a story around them. Mark's paintings reflect his message. There is a message about depression and how to escape it. All of us go through hard times in life and we all have choices, whether they are good or bad. He paints a picture of being in a dream in the first painting. Because you are overthinking your choices in that dream, you are stuck. You will see the second painting because you are overthinking, which leads to depression. The music changes and so does each of the paintings. You might be depressed for a number of reasons, according to the third painting. You might find a way to get up and make choices due to social media or the fact you can't get through life the way you want to. The fourth painting is based on decisions and what you want to do about it. What are you prepared to do about the choices that you will have to face? Even if you have done something about it and still feel hopeless, don't worry, you are still hustling and things will improve. The last two paintings, it's about feeling good about yourself and not losing hope. Keep going and don't let depression hold you back. The song and paintings were created by Mark Negron (Chino Latino). In collaboration with his best friend Andre Ramorex, a music producer, both men wanted to create a song. From there on, Mark wanted to become a choreographer and also continue on making paintings because he enjoyed expressing his emotions. He also enjoyed making music with his long-time friend Andre. In the future, both artists will create content using paintings to create music. The song is called Don't Lose Hope by Andre Ramorex and Chino Latino.
